Why Koh Lanta?
Located in Krabi Province, Koh Lanta is the ideal base for a diving and nature vacation in Thailand. Around Koh Lanta are some of the best diving spots in Thailand with intact coral reefs and a very varied underwater world from colorful snails to (with a bit of luck) whale sharks and manta rays.

The island itself offers varied nature, beautiful sandy beaches and epic sunsets. So far, the island has primarily been visited by individual tourists. Not least due to a growing expat community (primarily Scandinavians and Western Europeans) there is a good tourist infrastructure.
About me..
Born in 1961, retired IT manager, enthusiastic diver (divemaster) and underwater photographer. I was on Koh Lanta for the first time in 2009, only for a few days, but it was immediately clear to me that this island had the ideal mix of nature, diving spots and tourist infrastructure for me.
The stays got longer and longer until I bought an apartment and live on the island from the beginning of November to the end of April every year. And dive... There are now more than 1000 dives here and I'm still happy every day when I go out.
With divelanta.de I would like to bring divers closer to Koh Lanta as a destination.
