Dive sites

Some of Thailand's best dive sites are served from Koh Lanta. Travel times from Saladan range from 30 minutes to 2.5 hours, depending on the dive site and boat. Guests are picked up from the hotels in the morning and brought back after diving.

The dives are estimated at a maximum of 60 minutes, maximum depth is 30m.

Koh Haa

Simply stunning in every way, Koh Haa is by far our favorite dive and snorkel site. It is famous for the "Cathedral" where divers can explore the mysterious two large caves formed on one of the islands. There are also stunning coral walls, a beautiful lagoon for easy diving, schools of fish, lots of macro and if you look closely we can often find quite unusual aquatic life. Koh Ha Lagoon also offers a beautiful sheltered area for snorkeling and is suitable for all levels and ages. Koh Ha is one of our favorite Koh dive siteslanta

Koh Bidas

Koh Bida Nok/Nai/Hin Bida or the "Bida Islands" are located in Phi Phi National Marine Park which is easily accessible from Koh Lanta. The Bida's offer an exciting diving experience with pelagic schools around the reefs often seen chasing the smaller glassfish. This Koh Lanta dive site is also famous for spotting sharks, so don't be surprised if a black tip shark darts past you or you come across a sleeping leopard shark during your dive.

Hin Daeng Hin Muang

Hin Daeng / Hin Muang or Red Rock / Purple Rock is probably the most famous dive site in Thailand and the most spectacular of the Koh Lanta dive sites. Hin Daeng/Hin Muang is accessible as a day trip from Koh Lanta. These huge pinnacles in the middle of the Andaman Sea offer a dramatic underwater scenery with sheer walls covered in soft red and purple coral, dropping to 60m deep. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang have it all and we can offer you the chance of a lifetime to experience these beautiful reefs along with schools of pelagic fish and unique macros. Picture it all and then a giant manta ray or whale shark glides by!

Koh Rok

Diving on Koh Rok and Snorkeling on Koh Rok are back on Lanta Diver's dive schedule! The Koh Rok Islands are the paradise islands everyone is looking for - soft white sandy beaches and lush green trees combined with crystal clear waters. Koh Rok has been a popular snorkeling destination for many years, now we offer you the opportunity to dive around the islands! The dive sites around Koh Rok are suitable for all levels of divers. Marine life is diverse with schools of snappers, moray eels, powdery blue surgeonfish, lots of clownfish (known as 'Nemo') and lots of turtles!
